AUGUST 12, 2011 - one year ago today I met my amazing husband!!!

A year ago today, around 7:30pm, I was sitting in a coffee shop waiting to meet a man - a set up from a friend of mine and a friend of his...we met, we hugged and spent the next several hours laughing and talking - me especially enjoying his amazing storytelling of stories from the Bible...he set my mind at ease about some of my concerns and questions about God and showed me what a loving Father he is yet also the Emperor who stands for justice. A year ago today I met the love of my life, my sweet husband Commodore McLeod Chandler!!! Our connection and our love is so deep, it seems amazing that it has only been a year since we met!!! I couldn't have imagined anyone better for me!!! Thank you Jesus for your amazing gift to me in my precious husband!!! I love you Sweetie!!!!!!!!!!

Glimpses of our Cozy Home

So excited to have all my books displayed now!!!

The leather purse on the left is from my dear friend David; he got it for me in Costa Rica...in the middle is a Clown plate for Mr. Pooh Mac (my precious hubby who was called after Pooh Bear when he was little and Mac, his nickname in his youth) and the brass candlesticks are my mother-in-laws, so beautiful!!!

My sweet hubby bought the antique coffee server and warmer on the left - love, love, love, the white tea pot is my mother-in-laws and the orange tea pot is mine, both are on top of warmers from Germany...darling brass candle holders, and the kitty cats are a gift to me from my mother-in-law and they are
salt and pepper shakers...so fun!!!

Our mantle with electic treasures of my hubby's, my in-laws and mine

This and the next three are what is displayed next to my side of the bed...

These sweet ornaments are from my childhood...

UP! Our married life reminds me of Carl and Ellie's...on our way to Paradise Falls!!!

My sweeties, Liz - sissy and Toby - son
